SYMBOLS AND DEFINITIONS
MACHINE OPERATOR
Identifies the type of Operator to whom the mentioned intervention is reserved. This qualification requires
having obtained the necessary training and specific skills in the field of use of the pump, in addition to full
knowledge and understanding of the information contained in the Manufacturer’s user manual.
HANDLING OPERATOR
Identifies the type of Operator to whom the mentioned intervention is reserved. This qualification requires
specific skills for lifting equipment, safe methods and characteristics for slinging and handling as well as a full
knowledge and understanding of the information contained in the Manufacturer’s user manual.
INSTALLER/MECHANICAL SERVICEMAN
Identifies the type of Technician to whom the mentioned operation is reserved. This qualification requires
having obtained the necessary training and specific skills to carry out installation and maintenance and
full knowledge and understanding of the information contained in the Manufacturer’s user manual.
EXTRAORDINARY PROCEDURES
Identifies the operations that can only be performed by the Manufacturer’s After-Sales Service Techni-
cians.
HAZARD SYMBOLS
They indicate, together with the text, the type of residual risk that may occur during the mentioned oper-
ation:
General danger.
Temperature hazard.
Danger of toxic and/or corrosive fluids.
Explosion hazard.
Danger of crushing and sectioning.
PROHIBITION SYMBOLS
They indicate, together with the text, the type of prohibition to be observed during the mentioned operation:
Prohibition to come into contact with component parts when it is powered, running or hot.
Prohibition to remove the guards with the pump powered or running.
Prohibition to lubricate.
