To see a preliminary output, you can trigger this by:
53
PRINT RT HEADER
1
This prints the header; the data will appear during a determination. You may like to try the other Real
Time output formats: WXYZ (CMD=61)
23
PRINT RESULT DUMPS
The following outputs are not printable because the record length exceeds the paper width. These
outputs are good for saving to a spreadsheet for analysis.
79
DUMP RESULT DATA 1
This command results in an un-printable output. All the result data are dumped to the port preceded by
a header. This is useful if a PC is connected to the port with a port monitor such as ‘Tera Term VT’ or any
other port monitor. The data are dumped in a ‘CSV’ format and it is easy to transfer the data from the
port monitor to a file for further processing or storage.
The data are preceded by a header which requires an interpreter to understand. If you struggle to
master this, please email us for assistance.
23.1
PRINT CALIBRATION DUMP
84
DUMP CALIBR.S/N 1
Enter the vessel serial number and all (max=15) calibrations are output.
This command results an un-printable output. All stored calibrations for the specified vessel serial
number (S/N) are dumped to the port preceded by a header in a CSV format. This command has no real
value except it shows the calibrations data for checking the ‘AI’ performance. The data are preceded by
a header. It may not make much sense to you but it provides vital information to us.
24
REAL TIME PRINTING
This section is applicable to
CAL3K-AP/A/F only.
The ‘Real Time’ (RT) operation refers to the printing of a protocol of the sample determination as it
happens. This output is used by universities where the data are required in the raw form and the
computations are performed outside the CAL3K.
The output data are therefore devoid of any computation, adjustments or compensation. In addition,
the output protocol can be preceded by a:
USER HEADER:
Name of institution, faculty, division
PARAMETER HEADER: The list of parameters under which this experiment was performed
