7.1.1 Check that base machine hydraulics lines are correctly connected
– see section 4.2. Operate control lever in both directions to check
ÀRZGLUHFWLRQV
7.1.2 Remove the check valve cartridge from the rear of the clamp
cylinder and inspect for contamination or damage. The poppet
inside the cartridge should move freely. If in doubt replace and use
new seals.
7.1.3 Independently check the operation of the clamp cylinder with it
removed from the hydraulic circuit. This should only be carried out
by a competent person.
7.1.4 Remove the cylinder and inspect for mechanical damage inside the
clamp or inside the cylinder.
