latest technology, including innovative optical and digital sensor designs.The greater variety of optional
accessories, user-friendly touchpad and reliable components provide you with the most sophisticated
controller in its class.
FOR EUROPE: This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
FOR AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND: This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING: This product contains a lithium button or coin battery which can only be
accessed by using specialist tools.
This button/coin battery is mounted securely inside the electronic control circuitry of
the power supply. Access to this battery requires the use of specialist tools and should
only be undertaken by a suitably qualified technician or tradesperson.
In the unlikely event that the power supply has been dismantled, care must be taken
to ensure all appropriate safety steps are undertaken including ensuring that young
children or infirm persons do not have access to the button/coin battery.
If swallowed, a lithium button/coin battery can cause severe or fatal injuries within 2 hours.
If you think a button/coin battery may have been swallowed or placed inside any part of
the body, seek immediate medical attention.
INSTALLATION & SAFETY NOTES
1. All installations of Davey spa controllers and equipment must comply with AS/NZS 3000.
2. Parts containing live parts must be inaccessible to a person in the spa, except parts supplied with safety
extra-low voltage not exceeding 12V (e.g. touch pads and LED lights).
3. Parts incorporating electrical components, except remote control devices, must be
located or fixed so that they cannot fall into the spa. Portable appliances must not be located above the
spa during use.
4. The appliance must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
The system must be installed in such a way live parts are not accessible by a person in the pool or SPA.
5. The electrical connection must be done by a qualified electrician according to national, state and local
city codes, regulations or standards. If the appliance is hard wired to a power supply, the power supply
must be equipped with an overcurrent protector before connecting to the appliance.
6. If a supply plug is not fitted or if the system is installed in Europe then the system must be permanently
connected to fixed wiring. Means for all pole disconnection must be provided in the fixed wiring in
accordance with the wiring rules.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, please refer to Davey water products or Davey authorised service agent
for repair or replacement to avoid hazard.
8. In order to avoid the possibility of hyperthermia (heat stress) occurring, it is recommended that the
average temperature of spa pool water should not exceed 40°C.
