The DT9100 I4 acts as a terminal device of the current loop.
In this case the signal comes via a pair of wires, and it does
not have to go to other devices.
The following figure shows the connection:

Be careful the polarity of
the cables
1. Push the cable-end until it possible into the terminal
assembly. By pushing the wire in, the self-closing
connection is being established.
2. Check it by pulling it outwards slightly.
