Firmware Upgrade
Use this section to find out current software version and update the
device with new firmware. System configurations are preserved
when the device is updated with a new firmware version.
Firmware version:
displays the version of the current firmware.
Upgrade:
button opens the Firmware Upload window.
Firmware File:
click the browse button to navigate to and select the
new firmware file. The new firmware file is transferred to the
systems memory after the Upload button is activated.
Close this window
– button cancels the new firmware upload
process.
Upgrade button
should be activated in order to proceed with the
firmware upgrade routine the (new firmware image should be
uploaded into the system first). Please be patient, as the firmware
upgrade routine can take 3-7 minutes. The device will be un-
accessible until the firmware upgrade routine is completed.
It is highly recommended to back up the system configuration before
uploading the new configuration.
