If
your
system
includes
an
LM200
or
LM300
laminator,
plug
the
provided
power
cord
into
the
back
of
the
laminator.

Plug
the
power
cord(s)
into
the
facility
power
source.

If
this
is
the
first
time
you
are
using
the
printer,
power
on
the
printer
and
laminator
without
installing
supplies.
Keep
the
power
on
for
about
30
seconds,
until
an
ink
error
or
a
film
error
occurs,
then
power
off.
(The
printer
and
optional
laminator
are
shipped
in
transport
mode.
Ink
ribbon
and
retransfer
material,
and
laminator
material
cannot
be
installed
in
transport
mode.
Power
on
cancels
transport
mode
and
allows
supplies
to
be
installed.)
Connecting the Data Cable
Connect
the
USB
or
network
data
cable
only
when
the
printer
driver
installation
instructions
tell
you
to
do
so
in
Chapter
4
or
Chapter
6.
If
the
printer
has
been
used
previously,
the
type

connection

the
printer
LCD
panel
when
the
printer
is
powered

For best results, connect only one data cable to the printer and PC before powering on the
