Data acquisition boards can perform only as well as the input
connections and signal integrity you provide. If you choose not to use
the STP340 screw terminal panel, you can use the STP-68 screw
terminal panel provided by Data Translation (described in the DT340
User’s Manual), or you can design your own screw terminal panel. If
you design your own screw terminal panel, you must consider how
the signals interact in the real world as well as how they interact with
each other.
This appendix describes additional considerations to keep in mind
when designing your own screw terminal panel for use with the
DT340 board.
