Cleaning the case
The case of your
Vivaldi One
is machined from very high grade aluminium. Great care has been taken
to create the finish of the aluminium throughout the engineering process from the raw solid material to
the finished piece.
A special cloth is provided for cleaning the case. Ensure that the cloth is stored in the packaging
provided, as grit or debris picked up on the cloth could result in scratches.
Anodised finish (silver or black)
To remove loose dust or finger marks from the case, wipe it gently with the cloth. Small amounts of glass
cleaner containing ammonia may be used to clean other marks, but avoid spraying onto the connector
contacts.
To restore the finish, we recommend applying small quantities of a lanolin based cleaner, using a clean,
dry, lint-free cloth and then wiping off. Do not allow lanolin to collect around the buttons.
Painted finish (white or black)
Gently wipe the case with the dry cloth.
Do not re-use the plastic film on painted units as re-fitting it to hot units can damage the finish.
Gold-plated finish
Only clean with the cloth provided, wiping gently. If the finish becomes tarnished, moisten a corner of
the cloth, then polish with the dry part of the cloth.
Never use spirit based cleaners.
