strips, similar to matchsticks.
Common foods that are julienned
include carrots and zucchini.

Dicing vegetables involves
cutting your ingredient into small
blocks or “dice”. Dicing allows
for better flavor and texture when
you’re cooking. A small dice is
usually about ¼” cube.
