IF THE ENGINE IS COLD, THE CHOKE MAY BE NEEDED TO BE USED TO
START THE ENGINE.
OUT OF FUEL
SWITCH TO A FULL FUEL TANK OF GASOLINE OF 86 OCTANE OR
HIGHER
BAD GASOLINE
DRAIN AND CLEAN CARBURETOR FLOAT BOWL AND SEDIMENT CUP, AND
REPLACE FUEL WITH GOOD GASOLINE OF 86 OCTANE OF HIGHER.
FUEL FILTER IS PLUGGED
REPLACE FUEL FILTER, CLEAN CARBURETOR SEDIMENT CUP, AND
CLEAN FUEL TANK TO AVOID PLUGGING FILTER AGAIN.
SPARK PLUG FAULTY,
FOULED, OR IMPROPERLY
GAPPED
CLEAN OR REPLACE SPARK PLUG, AND ADJUST GAP
ENGINE WILL NOT START

DRY AND REINSTALL SPARKPLUG. START WITH THROTTLE LEVER IN
FAST OR FULL OPEN POSITION.
