9. Troubleshooting Guide
Below is a quick reference guide to some of the issues, causes and solutions that could happen,
for any assistance with issues or faults that you cannot resolve, please contact Daray Customer
Services.
For any other issues or anomalous readings please contact your distributor or Daray Ltd.
Please contact the supplier if any other problems are found.
The display will present a blank value with 3 dashes
where a reading should be; if
either the finger clip falls off (no finger inserted); a probe error or there is a signal inadequacy.
A functional tester cannot be used to assess the accuracy of a pulse oximeter probe or a pulse
oximeter monitor
For any suspected calibration issues, please contact daray.

Try again: Get a qualified medical
diagnosis if you are sure the device is
functioning correctly.
Both the SpO

unstable.
The patient’s finger may not
be placed far enough inside
the sensor
Reseat the pads inside the sensor and
place the finger in again making sure
the light emitter rests on top of the
fingernail.
The finger is shaking or the
patient is moving
Settle the patient.
