Drive Module Installing
Control Terminals
To connect the cable to the spring loaded
terminal,
1. Strip approximately 9-10 mm (3/8") of
insulation.
2. Insert a flat head screwdriver (Max. 0.4 x 2.5
mm) into the square hole.
3. Insert the cable in the adjacent circular hole.
4. Remove the screw driver. The cable is now
mounted to the terminal.
Disconnect power before removing the cable
from the terminal.
1. Insert a screwdriver (Max. 0.4 x 2.5 mm) into
the square hole.
2. Pull out the cable.
1. Mount the terminals from the accessory bag to
the front of the drive module.
2. Connect interlock wires to terminals 19 and 12
(+24V).
For emergency stopping purposes, if applicable,
connect the optional Safe Torque Off (STO) wires
to terminals 37 and 13 (+24 V DC.

Terminal 19 is assigned as interlock between the
compressor and the drive module. Opening the
interlock should quick stop the compressor. The
interlock configuration is included in the drive
module factory default configuration.
It is recommended to use the provided interlock
when Safe Torque Off is not required. The
interlock has automatic restart function once the
alarm(s) is cleared.

Cables should be connected/ disconnected only when power is not applied to drive.

If Safe Torque Off (STO) is installed:
The mains AC input power must not be interrupted when the STO is activated. Simultaneous STO activation and
mains power interruption can cause major damage to the compressor.
