DaVid (PGuard)
The alarm/event messages are sent to the alarm host via DaVid protocol.
Note that a DaVid Protocol capable software for message evaluation (e.g. PGuard advan-
ce

) must be running on the relevant alarm host.
SMTP server
The alarm/event messages are sent as e-mails via SMTP to the alarm host (SMTP server)
which then may forward them to several e-mail recipients.
Depending on the used SMTP server and its configuration the sender is arbitrary or a
SMTP authentication is required.
