Power pack module
If the DAS system is fitted with two power supply units, each of
them supplies 50% of the total power during normal operation. If
one of the power supply units fails, all the power will be provided
by the remaining one. The defective power supply unit can be
replaced whilst the system continues to operate.
7.2.1
Uninstall the power pack module
1. Turn the power pack module off (A).
2. Disconnect the power pack
from the power supply by
removing the non-heating
appliance cable. (B). The
Status LED will no longer be
lit (C).
WARNING
Danger of death from electric shock.
After you have turned off the power pack module,
it is imperative to remove the non-heating
appliance cable before pulling the power pack
module out of the sub-rack.
3. Push the locking lever to the
right and carefully pull the
power pack module out of the
sub-rack.
IMPORTANT
Possible damage to the power pack module and /
or sub-rack!
Ensure that you slide it straight. Do not use any
force.
