Prolink Solution

Install PLR

Prolink devices will be provided when choosing DVX-2210 Series.
The power box hook lock is different from the quick latch on DVX-

1200/2200. Refer to 

Figure 60.

Devices and tools Needed. 

• 

PLR

• 

PLR Support 

• 

Fasteners (M4x12 Countersunk Phillip head screw + M4 nut) 

• 

Self-drilling screw (M4x10)

• 

Optical Fiber cable (Customer provided). The length and type are 

according to the project’s configuration.

• 

Power cable for PLR (Daktronics provided)

• 

Signal cable (Daktronics provided). Female or Male end type to be 

selected on site, refer to site-specific riser drawings requirements.

Follow these steps to install a PLR.

1. 

Remove the backsheet. Refer to 

Figure 38

Figure 39

Figure 40

 and 

Figure 41

.

2. 

Find the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the horizontal stiffener 

underneath the power box. There are several holes on the stiffeners to 

be chosen as the PLR mounting location. Refer to 

Figure 83.

3. 

Install the pre-assembly devices of the PLR on the stiffener using the M3 

self-drilling screws. Refer to 

Figure 84.

Reverse these steps to remove the PLR.

Power Cable Installation

1. 

Locate the closed power box. Refer to 

Figure 85.

2. 

Plug in the PLR power cable connector, and make sure the gland nut is 

tightened. Refer to 

Figure 86.

3. 

Plug in the PLR power cable end to the PLR board, and make sure the 

connector is locked with the hook. Refer to 

Figure 87.

4. 

Connect the incoming cable to the fiber cable connector of the PLR 

board, and make sure the connector is locked with the hook. Refer to 

Figure 88.
