Cable

To remove a cable, follow these steps:

Note: 

Loosen cable gland nut to set the cable free.

 

Loosen fastener nut to remove the gland with cable.

1. 

Disconnect power to the display. 

2. 

Loosen the cable gland nut and fastener nut on the outside of the box.

3. 

Apply the cable gland removal tool to wrap the cable gland in the 

fitting angle, and push all the way to the bottom. Refer to

 Figure 78

. The 

cable can be pulled out for a distance when necessary by loosening 

the cable gland nut.

4. 

Remove the connector of the power cable and signal cable from the 

hub board. Refer to 

Figure 68 

and

 Figure 69.

5. 

Use the removal tool to rotate the cable gland 90° so the notches are 

aligned with the box. Refer to 

Figure 79

7. 

Cable gland is now loosened, pull the cable from below to 

remove the gland and cable out of the box. Refer to 

Figure 81

.

Reverse these steps to install the cable.

Note: 

Properly re-install the cable and cable glands to make sure 

water does not get into the box.
