Service

Note: 

Avoid exposing the contents of the power/signal box to moisture, 

as the components are not sealed for water exposure.

Module

Front-Access Module Removal

To remove a module from a front-access display, follow these steps:

1. 

Disconnect power to the display.

2. 

Insert the module removal tool into the keyhole on the front of the 

display and turn counterclockwise. Refer to 

Figure 32

 and

3. 

Pull the module away from the panel. Refer to

Unlock the connector from the rear of the module after the module is 

removed. Push lock up to open. Refer to 

Figure 35

5. 

Remove the connector from the rear of the module. Refer to 

Figure 36

Before reconnecting the modules, check the module map in the 

power-signal box to ensure proper connections. Refer to 

Figure 37

Reverse these steps to install a module in a front-access display.

Rear-Access Module Removal

Note: 

To access modules in the extremities of a given section, adjacent 

inner modules (Middle Left, Middle Center, or Middle Right in 

Figure 49

) may need to be removed.

To remove a module from a rear-access display, follow these steps:

1. 

Disconnect power to the display.

Remove the screws from the backsheet and lift the backsheet up and
