2.1.1 Protective performance of the D-AIR RACING 1 I.P.S.
The System to which this Informative Note refers must be considered Class 2 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as it has been
designed and produced to provide limited protection against the risks of mechanical impact in the event of a fall.
For the performance levels achieved by the Personal Protective Equipment D-AIR RACING 1 I.P.S. in tests to determine the Level of
protection offered refer to Table 1.

D-AIR RACING 1 I.P.S. inflated, in combination with the shoulder protector PA EG PRO L1 Type-A level 1.

gives extra airbag protection in the shoulder area:
•
reduces the risk of direct impact between helmet and collarbone
•
limits the neck bending movements during tumbling
•
gives "invisible" protection: comfort and ergonomics"
