To perform an electrical check of the DC fan motor
assembly

First perform a mechanical check of the DC fan motor
assembly, see
"2.5.1 Checking procedures" on page 27

Measure the resistance between the pins 1-2, 1-3, and 2-3 of
the DC fan motor connector. All measurements MUST be
15~20 Ω.

Yes
Return to the troubleshooting of
the specific error and continue
with the next procedure.

Replace the DC fan motor, see
"2.5.2 Repair procedures" on
page 28

Repair procedures
To remove the DC fan motor assembly
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite:
Remove the required plate work, see

Pull the clip and remove the heat exchanger thermistor from its
holder.

Remove the screws to disconnect the grounding wires from the
heat exchanger.

Disconnect the connectors of the indoor unit fan motor and the
swing flap motor from the indoor unit PCB.

Remove the screw and remove the switch box from the indoor
unit.

Click the indoor unit fan motor cover out of the indoor unit.

Remove the rubber from the indoor unit.

Remove the indoor unit fan motor from the indoor unit.

Install the indoor unit fan motor in its correct location on the fan.

Install the rubber in front of the fan motor.

Click the indoor unit fan motor cover on the indoor unit.

Put the switch box in place.
