3 Unplug the water flow sensor harness from the water flow
sensor.
4 Remove the 2 clips that fix the water flow sensor.
5 Remove the water flow sensor.
6 Clean any spilled water.
7 Cut all cable ties from the flow sensor harness.
8 Disconnect the hydro PCB connector of the flow sensor
harness from the hydro PCB.
9 Guide the flow sensor harness out of the switch box.
10 Remove the flow sensor harness.
11 To install the new water flow sensor, see "2.25.2 Repair
procedures" on page 88 .
To install the water flow sensor
1 Route the hydro PCB connector of the flow sensor harness into
the switch box.
2 Connect the hydro PCB connector of the flow sensor harness to
the hydro PCB.
WARNING
When reconnecting a connector to the PCB, do NOT apply
force, as this may damage the connector or connector pins
of the PCB.
3 Install the water flow sensor.

CAUTION
Check the condition of the O-rings and replace if needed.
Apply water to the O-rings before installation.
4 Install the 2 clips to fix the water flow sensor.
5 Connect the other end of the water flow sensor harness to the
water flow sensor.
6 Tighten the water flow sensor connector nut.
7 Fix the flow sensor harness using new cable ties.
INFORMATION
Replace all cable ties that were cut during removal.
8 Open the valve (if equipped) of the water circuit towards the
expansion vessel.
CAUTION
Make sure to open the valve (if equipped) towards the
expansion vessel, otherwise the overpressure will be
generated.
9 Open the stop valves and add water to the water circuit if
needed, see
"3.3.2 Repair procedures" on page 96 .

No Return to the troubleshooting of
the specific error and continue
with the next procedure.
2.26 Water pump
2.26.1 Checking procedures
To perform a mechanical check of the water pump
INFORMATION
This procedure applies to the Grundfoss water pump.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see "2.19 Plate
work" on page 77 .
1 Insert a flat screwdriver in the slot of the rotor shaft of the water
pump and turn it to rotate the water pump rotor shaft.

2 Inspect the rotor of the water pump motor. It MUST rotate
smoothly.
