▪ Check to ensure safety devices are com-
plete and working.
▪ Do not remove protective devices and co-
vers attached to the appliance.
CAUTION
Material breakage.
Falling hazard. Impact hazard due to the possi-
bility of falling goods. Cuts.
▪ Do not climb onto or into the appliance.
Falling objects.
Impact injuries. Cuts in the event of glass
breakage.
▪ Do not set down any objects on the appli-
ance.
Improper installation of the display
shelves.
Risk of injury due to falling of the display
shelves holding goods.
▪ The brackets for display shelves must snap
completely into the openings provided when
being attached.
Leakage of condensation water. Leak-
age of liquids from damaged packaging.
Drainage of condensation from doors.
Slipping hazard
▪ Remove condensation from doors.
▪ Check for puddles in front of and under the
appliance.
▪ Remove spilled defrosting water/fluids/con-
densation immediately.
Automatic closing of the night blind.
Hands may become trapped.
▪ When turning the market light control volt-
age off/on again, keep your hands away
from the automatic night blind.
Opening/closing the doors.
Hands (body parts) may become trapped on
the hinge or handle side.
▪ When opening/closing, do not reach into the
opening gap, especially on the hinge side.
▪ Look out for other persons when open-
ing/closing the lid.
Glass breakage.
Body cuts. Impact injuries.
▪ Do not install appliances with laminated in-
sulating glass at altitudes above 2000 m
(6562 ft). Laminated insulating glass may
break due to air pressure difference.
▪ Check glass elements for damage, e.g.
cracks, breaks. In the event of damage,
promptly contact the maintenance service
(see →Maintenance services).
▪ Check for breakage of stored glass containers.
▪ Check that glass doors are closed. Ensure
free passageways when glass doors are
open.
▪ Do not load glass doors.
▪ Do not open glass doors more than 90°.
▪ Do not strike glass elements with movable
objects (shopping trolleys, pallet trucks, ...).
▪ Do not climb onto or into the appliance.
Dispose of broken glass.
Hand cuts.
▪ Use protective gloves to remove split glass
parts and goods that may have been dam-
aged as a result.
▪ Carefully and completely remove all split
glass parts and damaged goods.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by non-compliance with this manual and other
manufacturer specifications.
3 Product description
3.1 General information
AHT products comply with EU Regulation 1907/2006
(REACH) on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisa-
tion and Restriction of Chemicals.
Neither refrigerant R-290 nor the blowing agent pen-
tane have an ozone depletion potential (ODP).
R-290 has a very low global warming potential (GWP) of 3.
