Replacement of the HEPA filter (Continued)
Step C –
Remove the knob fasteners.
To remove, use your hands to loosen the knob by turning counterclockwise (Figure 8).
To lock the HEPA filter into place, replace
the knobs and hand tighten the fasteners by
turning clockwise.
Install/Remove the HEPA filter by sliding it into
the upper filter track (Figure 9). Be sure that the
sealing gasket is located on the air outlet side
of the equipment. (This is the side closest to the
equipment outlet grille.)
Check to ensure the airflow arrow position is
pointed UPWARD.

To ensure a proper leak-free installation, adjust fasteners to seat the HEPA filter uniformly.
