Refrigerator Use
Door Closure Systems
Your refrigerator has an automatic door closure system.
The refrigerator and freezer doors gently slow and close
themselves when they are a few inches away from the
opening.
This eliminates door
slamming and rattling
of contents, as well as
preventing "not quite"
shut conditions that allow
cold air to escape.
Door Alert System
If the refrigerator or freezer door stays open for more than
30 seconds, a chime sounds to warn you that one or both
doors are open or ajar.
To Turn the Door Alarm ON and OFF
:
1. Press the Door Alarm button on the control panel. The
button will indicate if the alarm is on or off.
ON=lit; OFF=unlit.
