With this unit you have decided on a highly precise and with many safety-relevant protective
devices that are used for carefree charging of your vehicle.
Important Note:
Please read these important safety instructions for charging your vehicle.
Keep this user manual. The charger has many safety functions. Please read these safety
information and warnings in this manual to be alerted of potential hazards.
Warning
Basic precautions must always be followed when using electrical products.
This manual contains important instructions, including the following, which are required and
must be followed during installation, operation and maintenance.
• Do not install or use the charger near ,explosive, caustic or flammable materials, chemicals
or vapours..
• Switch off the input power of the charger before installing or servicing the charger.
• The device is only designed for vehicles that are compatible with the IEC 62196 charging
standard.
• Do not use the charger if it is broken, cracked, frayed, broken or damaged
• Do not try to open, disassemble, repair, manipulate or modify the device
If you have any questions or repairs, please contact our customer service.
• Do not use the charger when you are in the vehicle or when exposed to heavy rain,
snow or severe weather.
• Be careful when transporting the charger.
• Do not touch the charging connector with sharp metal objects
• Do not pull the charging cable with force or with sharp objects

The device should be installed, adjusted and serviced by qualified electricians or

Display :
The high-resolution colour display of the EM2GO charging unit shows you the following
information:

LED strip display
The LED strip signals the status of the charger:
1.
LED shows nothing: Not in operation
2.
LED is permanently lit green: Charger is connected.
3.
LED green running: it is Charging
4.
LED is permanently lit green: Charging process complete
5.
LED flashing red: There is a defect.
NOTE:
If the LED strip flashes red, the protection electronics of the EV charger was
addressed. In this case, please disconnect the mobile charger from the electric vehicle and
from the power grid. Submit the connections, cables and charger to a visual inspection.
If there are no visual defects, reconnect everything. If the red LED continues to flash, dis
-
connect the charger from the electric vehicle and the mains supply and contact your specialist
consultant.
Do not use the EV charger.
Charge vehicles:

. First plug the grounding plug of the charger into a suitable socket. Press the button (3)
on the charger unit and switch charging current.
2
. Remove the protective cap of the type 2 plug and connect it to the
Charging connection of the vehicle. Please note that the vehicle must be prepared and
adjusted for charging. The charging process begins.
3.
When charging is complete, remove the grounding plug from the mains socket.
4.
Remove the type 2 plug from the vehicle‘s charging socket.
5.
Replace the protective cap on the type 2 plug.
NOTE:
On some vehicle models the charging process does not start automatically.
In this case the switch on the charging unit (3) must be operated.

Warranty and maintenance
• The warranty period for this charger is two years.
• The warranty expires if:
• No proof of purchase can be provided.
• The warranty period specified by the manufacturer is exceeded.
• The instructions for use, maintenance and storage are not followed.
• Damage or malfunction is caused by the ingress of foreign objects.
• In case of repair, disassembly or modifi cation by unauthorized persons.
• Damage caused by force majeure (such as lightning, overvoltage, earthquake, fire,
flood, etc.).
• Damage and malfunctions caused by other avoidable external factors.
• Damage and malfunction caused by improper use of the equipment, such as the ingress of
water or other liquids.
• Damage and malfunction caused by the mains power supply and a voltage not specified for
use with the charger.

regulations and standards. It conforms with the fundamental requirements of the of
(REDF) 2014/53/EU. EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, and the Low Voltage Directive
