DXS-3326GSR Gigabit Layer 3 Switch
Various areas of the graphic can be selected for performing management functions,
including port configuration.
Area 3
Presents switch information based on your selection and the entry of configuration
data.
NOTICE
: Any changes made to the Switch configuration during the current
session must be saved in the
Save Settings
window (explained below) or
use the command line interface (CLI) command save.
Web Pages
When you connect to the management mode of the Switch with a web browser, a login dialog box is displayed.
Enter a user name and password to access the Switch's management mode.
Below is a list and description of the main folders available in the web interface:
Configuration
– Contains windows concerning configuration for Switch Information, IP Address, Box Information,
Advanced Settings, Port Configuration, Port Description, Port Mirroring, Link Aggregation, LACP Port Setting, MAC
Notification, IGMP Snooping, Spanning Tree, Forwarding & Filtering, VLANs, Traffic Control, Port Security, Port Lock
Entries, QoS, System Log Server, SNTP Setting, Access Profile Table, and Port Access Entity.
Layer 3 IP Networking
– Contains windows concerning configuration for L3 Global Advanced Settings, IP Interface
Table, MD5 Key Table Configuration, Route Redistribution Settings, Static/Default Route, Route Preference Setting,
Static ARP Settings, RIP, OSPF, DHCP/BOOTP Relay, DNS Relay, VRRP, and IP Multicast Routing Protocol, among
others.
Security Management
– Contains windows concerning configuration for Security IP, User Accounts, Access
Authentication Control (TACACS), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and Secure Shell (SSH).
SNMP Manager
– Contains windows concerning SNMP V3, including SNMP User Table, SNMP View Table, SNMP
Group Table, SNMP Community Table, SNMP Host Table, and SNMP Engine ID.
Monitoring
– Contains windows concerning monitoring the Switch, pertaining to Port Utilization, CPU Utilization,
Packets, Errors, Size, Stacking Information, Device Status, MAC Address, IGMP Snooping Group, IGMP Snooping
Forwarding, Router Port, Port Access Control, and Layer 3 Features.
Maintenance
– Contains windows concerning configuration and information about Switch maintenance, including TFTP
Services, Multiple Image Services, Ping Test, Save Changes, Reboot, and Logout.
Single IP Management
– Contains windows concerning information on Single IP Management, including SIM Settings,
Topology and Firmware/Configuration downloads.
NOTE:
Be sure to configure the user name and password in the User
Accounts menu before connecting the Switch to the greater network.
