Section 2 - Installation

1. Turn off and unplug your DSL or Cable modem. This is required.  If you have an existing router, it is strongly 

recommended that you replace it with the DIR-803, instead of using both. (Refer to 

“Connect to an Existing 

Router” on page 11

 if your modem is a combo router.)
