Purpose

Used to enable an IP interface on the switch.

Syntax

enable ipif {<ipif_name 12> | all}

Description

This command will enable the IP interface function on the switch.

Parameters

<ipif_name 12>

The name for the IP interface to be created. This

name cannot exceed 12 characters.

all

Entering this parameter will delete all the IP interfaces

currently configured on the switch.

Restrictions

none
