Using the Configuration Menu
Advanced > Encryption > 802.1X Authentication
Wireless Band:
Select IEEE802.11a or IEEE802.11g. IEEE802.11a is selected here.
Authentication:
When you select
802.1X
for increased security features with a RA-
DIUS server, the screen below appears. Select the
WEP key size
and the
Authentication
type from the pulldown menus.
Encryption:
Key Type:
Key Size:
Valid Key:
Key Table:
Apply:
Enabled
is the only option available in 802.1X mode. Please fill in
the following fields.
Select
HEX
(Hexadecimal digits consist or the numbers 0-9 and
the letters A-F)
, or
ASCII
(American Standard Code for Information
Interchange)
is a code for representing English letters as numbers
from 0-127.
Select
64-, 128-, 152-
bits.
Select one of the keys in the Key table to be the active key.
Enter up to four encryption keys here.
Click
Apply
in the screen on the previous page. The screen below
will appear.
