a. Reduce the size of the shield fill (maximum 1 cm from the sensor).
b. Limit the placement of the shield to only the selected sensors.

Slow the edges of the shield waveform to reduce emissions:

Adding a capacitor filter between the shield electrode port pin and ground will reduce slew rate.

a. The shield electrode should surround the guard sensor pad and exposed traces, and spread no further than
10 mm from these features.
b. The recommended shape for a guard sensor is rectangular trace with curved edges.

The recommended thickness of a copper trace is 2 mm and distance of the copper trace to the shield hatch is 1
mm.
