3.3.1.3.6 Shield Signal
The shield signal is driven on the hatch fill to reduce the parasitic capacitance of sensors for liquid tolerance and for
proximity sensing. See the
Shield Electrode and Guard Sensor
section for more details. The shield signal is a replica
of the sensor signal. The shield signal further increases radiated emissions as it is a high-frequency switching signal
and is driven on a spread-out hatch fill.
