Connecting recording sources
Connecting to Insert Plugs
The
Live Recorder LR- 16
offers 16 analog input jacks with standard TRS insert configuration ❻, so it is best connected
to recording sources that provide per-channel inserts. The Return output is taken from the Line input over 110 Ohm
resistor (passive feed through).
Connecting to Mono Signals (Direct Outs)
Use a TS-to-TRS adapter at the LR16 inputs:
Tip = Output, Sleeve = GND
Standard TRS configuration
Tip = Send, Ring = Return, Sleeve = GND
Use a standard TRS cable:
