CYCLEVISION APP SETTINGS
Video Exposure
The Cyclevision camera has ability to record astounding vision clarity while riding directly into or towards the sun or
very bright objects, by default the setting is 0.0 which is perfect for most riding occasions
However, if riding in very low light situations or at night, then select this option and change the setting to +2.0 this will
do two things:
1. Lighten the smartphone viewing screen.
2. Open the camera aperture to allow more light onto the image sensor and enable low light recording
Remember when the helmet or App is subsequently shut down the last settings will be maintained, and if for
example you rode at night and adjusted the App to suit, remember to readjust back to 0.0 for riding in normal
conditions including moderately bright sunlight, an incorrect Video Exposure setting will cause under or
overexposure of the next loop of recorded image
Cyclevision recommends leaving this at 0.0 because experience sees that the camera copes quite adequately
with low light situations even when set at 0.0
Default 0.0
Extreme Bright light -2.0
Low/Night light +2.0
Auto recording
Explained on page 19 and must be selected to ON, so when the helmet has been turned off and then back ON it
continues to automatically record without any need for user intervention
Camera Time
Press this button to sync the front and rear cameras to your mobile device (sync with device)
–
this can be done by
selecting Auto (correlated to the smartphone device time) or the user can elect to set manually.
G-Sensor
Not a feature with Cyclevision, can be left ON or OFF
Microphone sound
Select ON to record from the rear or front cameras, select sound off to stop sound recording
Light frequency.
This is an indoor setting whereby the user is subject to fluorescent tube lighting conditions, in Australia and regions
please leave it at 50Hz (recommend Cyclevision helmet camera setting). In north America it can be switched to
60Hz, however as cycling is primarily an outdoor activity it will make little difference which mode it is switch to.
