This section explains 

NetGenie’s advanced security configurations that includes firewall, port 

forwarding, granular antivirus, custom Intrusion Prevention System and many more.  

 

On enabling HTTPS scanning, I am not able to access HTTPS-based sites like 
www.gmail.com. What can I do? 

A possible reason is that upstream routers in your network do not support TCP ECN. To continue 
accessing HTTPS-based sites, disable TCP ECN in NetGenie. To disable TCP ECN, follow the 
steps given below. 
1.  Login to NetGenie using administrator credentials. 
2.  Open a new tab and type http://<NetGenie IP Address>/tweb/pages/conf.php in the Address 

Bar to go to the System Configuration page. For example, if your NetGenie IP Address is 
192.168.2.1, then you need to type http://192.168.2.1/tweb/pages/conf.php to go to the 
System Configuration page. 

3.  Disable TCP ECN as shown below.
