Decide the location of the “Hard Wire” Remote switch.
•
Remove the switch from the “GREY” hard wire cable and store in a
safe place.
•
Route the grey cable to the desired location and refit the wall switch
ensuring the wiring is in the correct order [see wiring diagram] –
failure to wire the switch correctly will result is damage to the remote
system.
•
A 240V 3A Fused spur is required to connect the mains supply for the
remote. This must be position in a location so the property owner can
check and replace the fuse should this be required.
•
Connect the “BLACK” mains cable to the fused spur. For easy
installation, it may be necessary to join the mains lead with the bowl
unit, and allow a suitable length of wire to the location of the 3 amp
fuse spur.
•
WARNING:
DO NOT connect the hardwire lead (Grey or white) to the
mains, as this will damage the unit.
