7. Remove the four screws that secure the transmis-
sion pulley shield using a 3/8” wrench.
See Figure 2.3.
NOTE: The tire was removed for this picture. It is
not required to remove the tire to remove the
belts.
8. Push both belts down onto the transmission pulley.
See Figure 2.4.
9. Unhook the reverse idler spring. See Figure 2.4.
10. Unhook the reverse cable Z-fitting from the reverse
idler bracket.
11. Remove the reverse idler bracket using a 1/2”
wrench. See Figure 2.5.
