ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The projector requires no particular routine maintenance. The repairs illustrated below must all be per-
formed only with the power cord disconnected from the line socket. For any type of breakdown requi-
ring repairs different from those described below, contact your installation service.
Replacing the Lamp
Proceed as outlined below:
- Before beginning, disconnect the power cord from the line socket.Use the wrench (20) supplied as
standard equipment to unscrew the two screws (5) holding the projector casing in place.
- Lift the casing (1).
- Lift and remove the lamp cover (11).
- Remove the unserviceable lamp.
Warning: the lamp may be very hot!
- Replace with a new halogen lamp (10) or (12) in the case of the contrast projector, holding the lamp
by the plastic envelope (NEVER touch the bulb with bare hands).
- Replace the lamp cover (11).
- Close the projector casing (1) and screw down (5).
- Reconnect the plug to the line socket.
Replacing the Remote Control Batteries
Proceed as outlined below:
- Remove the cover on the back of the remote.
- Replace the batteries with 4 new 1.5V AAA batteries. The correct polarity is indicated on the inside
of the battery compartment.
- Replace the cover.
Replacing the Line Fuses
To replace the line fuses:
- Before beginning, disconnect the power cord from the line socket.
- The line fuses are located at the rear of the instrument inside the socket/voltage selector unit (8).
- Extract the voltage selector and remove the unserviceable fuses.
- Replace the fuses with new fuses compatible with the line voltage supply as reported on the data
plate on the back of the projector.Replace the voltage selector.
- Reconnect the plug to the line socket.
Protecting the Projector from Dust, Cleaning
When the instrument is not in use, it should be covered with the dust cover. Any dust that may accu-
mulate on the projector should be periodically removed using a very soft cloth or a rubber ball air blo-
wer. Clean the outer surfaces with a cloth barely dampened with water. Do not use solvents.
Other Precautionary Measures
Unscheduled maintenance
(repairs, replacement of components, checking internal parts, etc.) is the
exclusive competence of the CSO technical assistance service.
Before sending the instrument to CSO for repairs or maintenance, clean all the surfaces and disinfect
using a clean cloth dampened with ethyl alcohol.
