INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Once the projector is correctly positioned and focused, proceed as follows to perform testing:
a) Switch on the instrument with the main switch (7).
b) Press a test button on the remote control to call up a test.
c) Begin testing.
Attention!
Never use the remote from a distance of less than 1.5 meters from the front of the remo-
te. Lighting of a LED when a button is pressed on the remote indicates that the signal has
been emitted and the batteries are charged. The projector will switch off automatically
after 10 minutes of inactivity and will emit an audible signal 30 seconds prior to switch
off (STANDBY).
Depending on projector model, the remote will contain different function buttons:
LAMP Button
When included, switches the projector lamp on or off. If the lamp is off, pressing any test button will
cause it to switch on.
Programming Buttons
Each projector can store two programmed sequences of tests to be projected onto the screen, including
masks (where present). The buttons used for programming are IN and OUT (CP 3000 and CP 3137), or
the NEXT button and buttons 1 and 2. The programmed sequences, called up by pressing buttons 1 or
2, always begin with the first test stored in memory. To skip forward or backward press the NEXT and
BACK buttons or the arrow buttons. The tests in a sequence may be substituted at any time.
Masking Buttons
All models except CP 1042 and CP 1142) permit using different masks for both horizontal and vertical
lines and single letters or symbols.
Programming Test Sequences
To program test sequences on the remote, proceed as outlined below:
CP 3000 and CP 3137 Projectors
To memorize a sequence:
1) Press program button

(after programming, the same button will be used to call up the sequences).
2) Press
IN

3) Press the button for the first test to be memorized in the sequence.
4) Press the
NEXT
button once.
5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all the desired tests have been entered.After entering the last test, press
the
NEXT
button once.
6) Press
OUT
to memorize the sequence on the button (
1
or
2
) selected in step 1.
To change a test in a programmed sequence:
1) Press program button

, according to the sequence to be modified.
2) Press the
NEXT
button to advance to the test to be substituted.
3) Press
IN
.
4) Press the button for the new test to be entered.
5) Press the
NEXT
button to advance to the end of the sequence. You will see an empty test circle.
6) Press
OUT

To interrupt a sequence:
1) Press program button

, according to the sequence to be modified.

3) Press the
NEXT
button to advance to the test at which the sequence is to be interrupted.

CP 2047, CP 2147, CP 1042, CP 1142, and CP 2033 Projectors
To memorize a sequence:
1) With the projector on and in standby, hold down program button

for 5 seconds until a beep
sounds to signal entry into programming mode. After programming, the same button will be used to
call up the sequences.
2) Press the button for the first test to be memorized in the sequence.
3) Press
NEXT
.
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all the desired tests have been entered.
5) After entering the last test, press
NEXT
.
6) Hold down the program button for 5 seconds until a beep sounds to signal that the projector has exi-
ted the programming mode and entered standby with the sequence memorized on button
1
or
2
selected in step 1.
