Application Notes
Convenience Store

Most keys are open entry grocery style keys.
¾
LIQUOR

BEER
and
WINE
keys are set with an age restriction of 21.
¾
There is a
CIG PACK
key with age set at 18.
¾
Three gas keys demonstrate the gallonage function.
¾
The
REGULAR GAS
key will print a non-volatile image on the receipt for a car
wash. (Note: The image must be loaded on the printer.)

Touch

Beverage/Coffee/Bakery
¾
This application illustrates a specialty coffee or bakery and has some ‘wine bar’ style
keys.
¾
The yellow menu keys require a yellow size key to be selected before touching the
menu item.

The
COOKIE
key will print a non-volatile image on the receipt for coffee. (Note:
The image must be loaded on the printer.)
¾
There is a drive-thru function on this keylink.
When customer is at the speaker enter items, touch
STORE DRIVE THRU.
Repeat
for next car. As cars arrive at pickup window touch
RECALL DRIVE THRU
.
Orders will be displayed for payment in sequence.

Ice Cream
¾
This application illustrates a
Dairy Queen
or frozen custard style menu.
¾
The yellow menu keys require a size entry.
¾
The cone key can use a ‘double modifier’. For example, you can enter a size and you
can select
WITH YOGURT
to change the PLU from a ‘small cone’ to a ‘small
yogurt cone’.

FLURRY
,
CONE
and
SUNDAE
keys each have a flavor menu popup. After one
selection, the menu returns to the ice cream store keylink.
