Translation of the original operating instructions
10
The tank aeration and ventilation (fig. 13, no. 2, 3) on the
tank cover must be set to the "ON" position in order to pre-
vent a vacuum forming in the tank.
3. Before starting the engine, pump
enough fuel into the fuel filter and carburettor to fill them
completely (pump ca. 7 times) with the primer (fig. 14,
no.10) on the rear of the inverter.
4. Set the choke lever (fig. 15, no.11) to "start".
5. Set the start/stop switch (fig. 16, no. 12) to "START".
6. Carefully pull the pull-cord starter (fig. 17, no. 5) until
you can feel a light resistance, then pull it more forceful-
ly.
If you are starting an engine that has already warmed up,
you do not need the choke!
7. After a warm-up phase (1 - 2 min.), return the choke lever (fig. 15, no.11)
to the "Running" position. You can now connect the consumers.
5.4
Stopping the engine
1. Disconnect all connected consumers from the electrical power generator.(fig. 11)
2. Set the start/stop switch (fig. 16, no. 12) to "STOP".
3. Set the fuel cock (fig. 12, no. 8) to "Off".
Attention! Risk of injury!
There could be an unexpected kick-back from the
pull-cord starter, which could suddenly jam the pull-cord.
Note
If you have to switch the engine off immediately due to an emergency sit-
uation, set the starter switch to "OFF" ("0").
