The upper pole must be shortened
and the lower pole lengthened for
this purpose so that both can offer
support.
• Ascending/Descending (figures I/J)
While walking uphill, the poles must be shortened, so that they provide
comfortable support. While walking downhill, the poles should be
lengthened so that you can maintain a comfortable, upright body posi-

Attaching the wrist strap (figure K)
K
Place the strap in such a way that
the back of your hand is surrounded
by the upper part of the strap.
The logo should be on the outside.
Then grip the handle.
Please ensure to observe „L“ (left)
and „R“ (right) marked on the hand
strap.
Adjusting the wrist strap (figures L-O)
The size of the wrist straps can be set by using the push button. To open
the locking mechanism, press the button on the strap adjustment system
down with your thumb (figure L).
The strap is now unlocked and the strap length can be set individually.
Pull on the open lower end of the strap to shorten the loop. Pull in the
other direction, if you wish to enlarge the loop (figure M).
Then fix the strap again by holding the pole with one hand and using the
other to pull on the upper strap, so that the push button clicks into place
(figure N).
Set the size of the strap so that it does not cut into your hand when you
hold the grip (figure O).
