Set the Speech Source Mix
To set the
SPEECH
output’s source mix:
•
Access the Speech Output menu as described in “Access the Speech Output
Menu” on page 43.
•
Press the
k
or
j
buttons until “Source Mix” is displayed on the LCD and
press
ENTER
to open the Speech Source Mix controls.

Aud. Only
•
Press the
k
or
j
buttons until the desired setting is displayed on the LCD.
The current setting is indicated with an asterisk (*). The following settings
are available:

Aud. Only
: Sends the audio signal from the selected source to the
SPEECH
output.
⇒
Mic. Only
: Sends the microphone input signals to the
SPEECH
output.
⇒
Mic + Aud
: Sends a mix of the audio signal from the selected source
and the microphone input signals to the
SPEECH
output.
NOTE:
While setting the Speech Source Mix, the Speech Volume
level can be adjusted by turning the volume control clockwise to raise
the volume, or counterclockwise to lower the volume. When adjusting
the volume, the display will change to indicate the volume level.
•
Press
ENTER
to save changes and return to the previous screen. To cancel
without saving changes, press
MENU
.
Set the Speech Bass Level
To set the Speech Bass level:
•
Access the Speech Output menu as described on page 43.
•
Press the
k
or
j
buttons until “Bass” is displayed on the LCD and press
ENTER
to open the Speech Bass controls. The current bass level will be
displayed.
