Security

The Security page displays configuration settings related to security for the DM-NVX-D30/E30
(C). The SSL mode and authentication options can be configured on this page.

The Security page can be accessed by clicking the Security tab in the navigation bar of the web
user interface of the DM-NVX-D30/E30(C).

DM-NVX-D30/E30(C) Security Page

Select Encrypt and Validate, Encrypt, or OFF in the SSL Mode drop-down to specify whether to
use encryption. By default, SSL Mode is set to OFF.

By default, the authentication mode is enabled.

Move the Enable Authentication slider to the desired position to specify whether authentication
will be enabled or disabled.

NOTES:

l

When authentication is enabled, you must create a local administrator account by
creating a username and password. These credentials will be necessary to log in.

l

When authentication is disabled, all existing users and groups will be deleted from the
system.
