
2.3 Obligations of the Owner
- The vehicle owner is responsible for the proper use of the device.
- For appliances without FrostControl (eg UK version) or if the appliance is not
operating, always empty the water volume when there is a risk of freezing. No
warranty can be claimed for damage caused by freezing!
- The vehicle owner must have the gas system checked by a liquid gas specialist
(DVFG, TUV, DEKRA) in accordance with the relevant national regulations (every
2 years in Germany). This inspection needs to be approved on the relevant
inspection document (G 607).
- Pressure regulation devices and hose lines must be replaced with new ones at
the latest 10 years after the date of manufacture (8 years for commercial uses).
- Hoses should be checked regularly and replaced if they are worn or damaged.
- When a new appliance is put into operation for the first time, smoke and odor
may develop for a short time. When the appliance is put into operation after a
particularly long downtime, a slight smoke and odor may occur due to dust or
dirt.
It is recommended to run the appliance for a few minutes at the highest power
level and then to ensure that the room is well ventilated for self-cleaning.
- Hot air can be dangerous and cause burns, especially for young children,
children, the elderly or sick people. Outgoing air can reach high temperatures at
hot air outlets. The air temperature should always be checked before adjusting
the hot air outlets.
- Hot water can be dangerous and cause burns, especially for small children,
children, the elderly or sick people. Check the water temperature before each
shower or bath.
- This appliance can be used by children from 8 years of age and also by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge in the use of the appliance, provided they are supervised or have
been instructed in the safe operation of the appliance and understand the poten-
tial hazards. Children are not allowed to operate the device.
- The flue gas double pipe should be checked regularly, especially after long
trips, for damage and whether the connection is intact, as well as the appliance
and chimney connection.
- Water should not be poured directly into the chimney in order not to cause any
damage due to splashing water while the vehicle is being washed.
