Heating Mode
The air, which is circulated by the Fan Motor, takes the heat obtained in the boi-
ler and is transmitted into the vehicle. An internal or external temperature sensor
integrated in the control unit detects the temperature of the intake air. If the felt
temperature is below the value set on the operating switch, the heater continues
to operate at full capacity.
Setting Mode
In the setting mode, the fan motor speed and the fuel delivery capacity of the
Dosing Pump depend on the heating capacity. At this time, the Glow Plug is
disabled.
Thermostat Range
In case of approaching the temperature set on the operating switch, the heating
capacity is reduced by the control unit. The speed of the Fan Motor and the
fuel delivery capacity of the Dosing Pump are reduced in direct proportion. If
the temperature value set at a minimum heating capacity is reached, the fueling
process of the Dosing Pump is terminated and the combustion process ends by
performing the last blow of the heater.
Note
Throughout the thermostat range, the heater fan motor operates at idle speed,
providing indoor air circulation. Also, a change to the Operation switch is evalua-
ted by the Control Unit and then activated.
Closing
In case the heater is turned off, the start warning lamp (LED) on the start switch
turns off and the heater stops by performing its last blow. If the heater is turned
off while in the thermostat range, it will stop without final blowing.
Note
While the heater is performing its final blow, it can be turned on again, but the
heater re-engagement will occur after the completion of the final blow.
