One important note: IP blade utility mixers do not respond to All Sources Off. You must individually turn
the channels off as shown in the macros above. Also, turn channels on before turning channels off.
There is some delay between command and execution and if you don’t “make before break” you will
upcut the audio in the transition.

VIII.

Wrap-Up

With such an omnibus project it is impossible to cover every possible nuance in use and configuration,
but we have attempted to provide you with all the information you need to get the conversion done.
The instructions above can be adapted to individual situations but the general procedures should be
followed.

It is important that you follow the plan in the WheatNet-IP Excel workbook for your market. This
workbook contains spreadsheets with IP addresses, blade names and numbers, switch port assignments
and source/destination names. Do not deviate from this plan without clearing it with Corporate. There is
method to our madness and we have attempted to standardize nomenclature, numbering and
configuration across the company, which will make things easier down the line.

If in doubt, ask. You can call Cris Alexander or Amanda Hopp with specific questions, and of course you
can also call Wheatstone support.

Good luck!
