5 bar or more can be considered watertight (showering allowed). Watches
with a classification of 10 bar can also be used when swimming.
− Watertightness is not a permanent property as the function of the built-in
sealing elements may diminish with daily use or be damaged by an impact
or fall.
− If a watch is subjected to substantial changes in temperature such as when
sun-bathing followed by a dip in cool water, liquid may condense in the
housing. This is not necessarily a sign that it is not watertight; it is, however,
imperative that the moisture is immediately removed. In this case, contact
the service address indicated on the warranty card.
