top hole of the pole.

b.

Using wire nuts, connect the fixture wires with
the supply wires from top of pole by matching
black wires with black wires, white with white
and ground wires with ground wire.

Warning:

Maximum wattage for lighting fixture is

300 watts – there is a risk of fire if using wattage higher
than the recommended amount.

8. Operating the GFCI

This post is equipped with a convenient outlet. The Conveneince outlet on
this post has a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) safety outlet feature.
In the event of a ground fault, the GFCI will trip and stop the flow of
electricity to prevent serious injury.

To use, lift the outlet cover to plug in additional
working outdoor-rated devices such as portable
radios. Allow the outlet cover to partially close
over the plug, as shown in Diagram, to protect
the outlet from the elements. Keep cover of
Conveneience outlet closed when not in use.

Post must be wired according to
directions in order for convenience
outlet to work properly. If
additional devices plugged into
Convenience outlet do not operate,
see procedure for resetting and
testing GFCI outlet.
