Installation of the "Weller OPS" image processing software
The complete installation of all software components for the "Weller Optical Placement System" image
processing software included on the CD-ROM supplied is performed in three stages:
Installation of the driver for the FireWire interface card
Installation of the image processing software
4.4.1 Installation of the driver for the FireWire interface card
Insert installation CD in the drive on the PC
Open Hardware wizard on the PC:
START MY COMPUTER PROPERTIES HARDWARE DEVICE MANAGER
When you follow the instructions from the Hardware wizard, a search is performed for the appropriate driver
for the FireWire interface card. This is on the installation CD in the following folder:
:\WELLER_OPS\boifcW98W2k
Once the installation has been completed, the following entry appears in the Device Manager. The driver for
the FireWire interface Baumer 1394 Device 1 has been activated.
