for additional settings of the
gmail
account itself.
Two types of alarms can be sent:
•
An alarm when a set noise threshold is exceeded
•
An alarm when the battery level is too low. The level cannot be adjusted. It is set so the
instrument has enough reserves to send the alarm.

Advanced Email Setup
Firmware versions of the instruments from V1.7 and up have the following advanced capabilities:
7.6.6.1.1
Email Rate Limits
The rate at which the alarm emails are sent can be limited. By default it is 1 email per 5 min for a noise
alert, and 1 email per hour for a battery email. These limits can be increased or decreased by writing
new values in the respective fields.
7.6.6.1.2
Secondary Noise Alarm Thresholds
By default the noise alarms are triggered by the same threshold at all times. But it is possible to set-up
a secondary threshold cycle, so that alarms are triggered on a different threshold at different times.
That makes it possible for instance to:
•
Set a more sensitive threshold at night
•
Set a less sensitive threshold, or disable the alarms altogether on the weekends.
In order to do that, press on the
Secondary Cycle
. The following window opens:
